First, and I don't mean to sound rude, but it's YOUR opinion that counts, not your mom's. If YOU'RE OK with it, why bother?

Second, unless you find a talented tattoo artist with experience with cover-ups, it'll look worse afterwards. Can you cover the tat with an accessory (scarf, gloves, etc.)?

Lastly, they do make products to cover it up if you don't want to get rid of it.

Bottom line, if YOU like your tat, don't perminantly change it for someone else.

your mom is saying that a flower will look worse than a dragon? or you are wanting to cover the dragon because your mom says it will look bad in your dress?

either way... do what YOU want to do, as it is your body, your wedding and you are i am assuming an adult.

p.s. i got my dragon covered up and am glad about it.

where is the tatt you have now and how big is it? will it show with your dress on? if you like it and aren't bothered by it then keep it. otherwise just use makeup. I don't know how big your dragon is but it seems like a flower would need to be significantly larger than the dragon to cover up all the curves and lines.

I feel you. A few people in my family are trying to tell me I need to cover my tattoos when I get married. What for? They are mine. They are me. If you want to get a cover up, go for it. That's your choice. If you want your tattoo(s) to show at your wedding, go for it. It's your choice. Good luck!

They sell stuff to cover up tattoos, its like makeup type stuff, dont' go get a cover up tat just to look good in your wedding dress, my mom wanted me to cover mine up on my shoulder blade b/c she doesnt' like tats and its pretty, its a fairy!! I told her no, I like it and so does my fiance sooo it doesn't really matter what she thinks. But if you do want to cover it up, do makeup, not a cover up tat.
