I have been noticing that alot of the "real good guys' out there keep getting over looked.And then us girls ***** about getting treated like crap. Do you hink that good guys ealy do finish last? And why is it that these guys so often get over looked?

I am a perfect example of a good guy finishing last. I haven't had a date in three years. It is mostly because I'm too shy to walk over to girls and start talking to them. If girls got to know my personality, they'd see I'm a good guy... But they never get a chance to.

Its so simple! Us girls find a guy who's got a little bit of 'bad' in him irrestible. It is so attractive to know that there is something uncertain and unsure about a guy. If you know you have a guy and you know that he is dead into you, often the attraction fades. It's human nature. By the way, I think its the exact same with guys and good girls. Guys like a bit of a challenge and therefore if a girl is not always totally 'good', its a bit more exciting for a guy. Hope this helps!

I was a good guy, and still am to some degree. I guess thats what have a single mom raise you does. Anyway, i realized that it is a fact that nice guys finish last, so i became more out going and forward and it worked. I'm much more popular, have more girls after me, and having the best time of my life.

Nice guys are the men women look to as long term providers. These guys are stable, sweet, and boring. They don't excite women. These type of guys don't have the balls to step up and say look at me because they fear being rejected permanently. So they sit back and wait for the girl to finally settle down and start looking around for her long term provider. So the idea is, he's the last guy she picks but the one she ultimately ends up with. Hence he finished last.

The good guys are overlooked because they are shy and lack self confidence. The jerks are usually very confident and approach girls more often. Try asking guys out.

They don't always finish last but good guys will take more crap from girls which can make them seem like the finish last.
They just try to hard to stay in relationships that are over.

,Can't argue with that as it is very true. Everyone's human, & are usaully attracted to someone physically before they are emotionally. Since nice guys aren't always "ripped" & 220lbs, we often get overlooked in the initial attraction.
Not to mention we're the shy type due to lack of experience.

If they showed their best selves and showed the girl how much of a man they were (Like...not being too nice) they wouldn't be overlooked. This I had to learn through hard experience and failed attempts.

in my book they dont. in reality they do get overlooked. its horrible. at least thats what i think. i agree with what you said about girls b.itching about being treated badly. its cuz we always go for the wrong kinda guys. and then we always ask, "why aren't there any good guys in the world?!" but really, there are tons. good guys are the only ones worth going out with, in my opinion...

well the reason good guys get overlooked bc often a good guy wont b like a jerk and make himself known to everyone . i consider myself a goodguy and for a long time i was last until i met my girlfriend now who i instantly fell for!
