just kick it at home? Im asking cause my boyfriend only wants to hangout with me if its exciting like movies, dinner, bar things like that. its getting really expensive for me and im always late for work due to late nights. we live together so even when he goes with his friend my sleep is disturbed when he gets home cause then we fight about why I didnt wanna go out. Im asking cause Im starting to think im wierd or something i mean i really would love to just kick back and watch a move in my pj's while lying on the couch with my guy am i the only one who would prefer this to going out?

i go out with him most of the time (always with HIS friends) but after a few weeks of every night out I tell him to go alone cause I really need rest. I guess i would be different if his friends werent always around but thats like a sin for him or something

Count me in, I love staying at home with my guy.
Cook up a really good meal, rent a movie you both like and show him how much fun it can be to stay at home rather than going out.

I looooooooooove hanging out at home. I've had my fair share of the night life- and I surely don't miss the bad skin and empty bank account. There's nothing like lounging about at home, eating snacks, watching anything and everything on t.v......and movie nights are the best. But maybe you should make it a point to go out with your guy at least once a week or every 2 weeks. And the same with him- try to plan it out so the both of you share equal time together in your comfort spots.

No, it just means that you guys have different interests. Talk with him and try to meet in the middle. If its really becoming an issue then maybe you need to look for someone who is more of a homebody. Or could it be that the things your guy is wanting you to go out and do dont interest you..? Research events and things for you guys to do together that you both will enjoy.

I'm a "stay home and watch a movie" kind of guy. Wife's the same (but she's usually asleep before the movie ends). Going out is tiring and not easy (unless you're 16 and at your parent's).
I see compatibility issues. He wants to go out, you want to stay at home. Two possible solutions: either commit to some middle-ground, or go separate ways.

I like being at home, too, but I like to mix it up a little. Do you ever go out with your boyfriend? If you never go out with him, he might take that as a sign that you're not into him. Make a compromise and go with him some nights.
Edit - That's cool that you go out with him as well. It's unfortunate that he doesn't understand that you need rest and that you don't have to go out all the time.

yea me an my girlfriend stay in alot unless theres something really fun sounding that we would both like to do. Its only fun for me if she has fun too. Sometimes it is a little too much and its fun to get out of the apartment but for the most part we love just staying home. Alot of our friends enjoy it too. :) I think its totally normal that you want to stay home.

Sounds like you need a new bf my dear. You have a balanced attitude, he does not. Social activities are nice and necessary for a balanced life. But they are not as important as sharing private time w/ your SO. If your bf is incapable of that type of intimacy you need to leave. Even w/ good counseling he's not likely to reorient his attitude toward you (meaning women in general rather than you specifically).
Get a new life! Good luck in your new adventure!!

Oh, I would MUCH rather stay at home and spend alone time w/ my man. That's much more intimate and it's also cheaper. You can stay in your lounge wear (like you said) and there's no car time to get back home and so on.
You're not alone on that one.

no way tell him to stop being selfish i think it's best to have alittle of both those cut cuddily moments in the house and those fun wild nights out.
