Give him a chance only if you are attracted to him, not because he is cute and is your best friend (and dont do it for pitty either) Just remember that this is a very important decision. It could either make you closer or distant according to how the relationship goes. You can agree to still be friends if it doesnt work out but one or both of you will probably feel wierd knowing that you once kissed and stuff. Good luck!

You know whether or not you have feelings for him too. Sometimes your best friends are the perfect match for you and you never know why because you won't give him a chance because he knows too much about you already. But if he knows your peeves it could be a perk because he would not piss you off on purpose and he would know just how to console you on a bad day. But it could be bad because he knows so much about you and he is going overboard to make it work. maybe date him on a trial basis that both of you know about and then decide if its a good idea for the two of you to be bf/gf or just remain friends.

Relationships are always better when you start off as good friends. Just go with it, and let him know that you want to give it a chance, but also that no matter what happens you want to know that it wont change how close of friends you are. Good luck, sounds perfect to me.

My current boy toy and I were friends for 4 years, then we started sleeping together, and first, there's nothing better then doing your best friend, and second, they make the perfect man because they already know what you like and don't like....there's no training process!! Go for it!!

Yea why not? If you are attracted to him(not just that he is hot) I would probably give him a chance. But you have to remember that if it doesn't work out your friendship could be ruined.
