What is the best brand of hair colour Revlon,L'Oreal,Henna,Clairol,Garnier?
I want to dye my hair dark brown or reddish auburn, but I don't know the best brand. I want a brand that won't dry out my hair, won't damage my hair, and the colour should not fade as fast.(like in 2 weeks) All my friends say to use Henna, because it's the best brand and it does not dry or damage your hair.
Thank you!!!!!

Go to a beauty supply and look at Joyco or Goldman brands of dye in 2 oz bottles. They are about $4.00 for a bottle for the dye. Then think about the peroxide. If you have gray or dark coarse hair, choose a 40 volume (strong) peroxide. If you have soft gentle "young" hair go with 10 volume (weakest) peroxide. There ate 20 and 30 volumes in between depending on the state of your hair. It's acutally cheaper to go to a beauty supply and get a proper bottle of dye and a good quality peroxide to mix it with than to by some cheesey drug store product. Of course, roots first for 10 minutes. Put a plastic shower cap over your head. That's the true secret -- the cap. Then mix it through the rest of your hair for 5 or 10 minutes under the cap. That's the best way to do your own hair. It's what the pros do and what the pros use. You can do the same process with a stronger peroxide and a lighter color dye for highligts and streaks. Have confidence in yourself!

L'oreal is one of the better ones you can buy, but stay away from henna containing products. They are hard to get out of the hair

garnier, it leaves it softer and it won't dry your hair out like the henna, and it also lasts longer .

henna leaves it softest.......but it keeps getting darker each time you color and you will probably end up cutting it .... try the ion color line from sallys beauty supply stores....i prefer colors from italy but they are generally only sold to professionals
