Life isn't a dream, definately. But some people believe that when you die, your soul vanishes as if it never exists. So technically, you don't see nothing, you don't see anything because you don't exist. I kind of like to think, that when we die, we get kind of reincarnated. Our traits and personalities get passed onto our reincarnation (from the beginning, and that's why we have them in the first place). I guess it's kind of why there's tons of mean people everyday. Heaven and Hell, hmm..I don't know, sorry. But if we are to die, and our souls disappear as if we never experienced anything, I'd like to have fun while it lasts. Even if that fun will become non-existant, I'd like to have love, fun, and life while we DO exist. Maybe some people believe in Heaven and Hell because they don't want to see the truth. Or atleast want something good to come out of life.

The key is evidence, and with respect to hell, heaven, or reincarnation, there simply isn't any, so any thoughts about these are idle speculation. The one apposite thing where there is some evidence is near-death experiences, which have been much of a topic today; these differ, but tend to have some common elements. There isn't any reason to believe that these are anything of more substance than the brain's reaction to a high stress situation.

I had a near death experience twice. One I remember as what people describe as wight light. It was peaceful and I seen some of my dead relatives. Some of them I never met before and died before I was born but after describing them some relatives showed me old black an wight pictures and it was them. I also seen things like a large field with flowers, a small bridge over a creek and a cherry tree in the middle. Several years later while in Europe walking with friends I found this location and had cherries of that tree. I now get bad goose bumps when I walk through very old cemeteries in Europe mostly and my hair stands on edge but only when I pass by certain graves. In Pompey walking the old ruins and streets got the same thing in certain areas I learned to love this feeling I don't know why. I can go on but your question Heaven, God etc I don't knew but there is something beautiful and I'm looking forward to it. The relatives I seen ware all waving for me to go back.

I believe that Heaven and Hell are real places, but they are in a spiritual realm, not a physical one. I believe that you stand before God when you die, and you are "judged," so to speak, on several things - whether you're saved, how you've lived your life, etc.

one could argue that life is the dream and that death is the reality, depending on the perspective, since death is also a fact of life....we are most surely going to die, so why does the life have to be the reality? thinking is a concept that requires perspective, so if your perspective changes, then is that not also a reality?*GONG!!*

Thoughts and memories require a functioning brain. When your brain dies, you cease to exist. Just as you did not exist before you were born, you will not exist after you die.
