I don't want my girl's name is too popular, has religious means, too strange, hard to pronounce or be joked by others.

I don't think it is out of date. I named my daughter Genevieve. Everybody thinks it is some sort of French old-fashioned name...I never really saw it that way. If you like it, then you use it.

It is your baby girl and you can name her without the approval of Yahoo. Teresa is lovely and set people straight right from the beginning that her name is not Terry.

I know a Theresa and a Teresa, but they aren't called by their full name. Theresa is Resa, and Teresa is Tess. But Teresa does sound like an old name to me.

i think it's best not to give a child a name that is "in" now, because when she's a little older the name may be considered weird.

you're the parent, you are the one going through the pain of childbirth!!! (ahhhhhhh). in the end it's your decision.

as long as you like it, that's what matters!

(as long as it's not a name like cocoa, or apple) (cringeeee)

ENJOY PARENTHOOD!!!!! it's awesome!!!
