You're only eligible if you were fired or laid off and worked there at least 6 months.
If you're not smart enough to Google it, you don't deserve the money.

Anybody in the UK would not be entitled to benefit if they lost their job through either resignation or being sacked. If either apply, you have to wait 6 months before applying for benefit. Only those that leave a job due to ill health or redundancy can apply and if it was because of ill health, they would refuse Unemployment Benefit (Jobseekers Allowance) and tell you to claim Sickness Benefit instead. As for studying, the benefits law only allow you to study to level 2 but they do allow you and encourage you to go to level 3 if it will improve your future job prospects. You will lose your benefits if you study for more than 15 hours per week, including homework. However, many study at Diploma Level and Level 4 and say nothing. The colleges will accept you on a "Full Time" course but they only put a maximum of 15 hours on a prospectus. If your study is questioned, the college will say the 15 hours includes homework and the Benefits Agency will accept it, even though they know everybody is lying. The Government are aware of the lies as they made the law and as they are aware that the law is unfair, they turn a blind eye. Finally, you can not study at a Uni as the Benefits Agency would not let you get away with studying at Degree and above levels whilst in receipt of any benefit. They will not turn a blind eye to that.

This depends on your state. Unemployment is run by each state separately, usually through their department of labor. Search for unemployment and the name of your state. You should find it that way. If not, look in a phone book, in the government pages (usually the blue pages) under State/Labor dept. Call the information number listed there, and they will point you in the right direction..

I do not think there is a website. You have to go to your local office in person to register. I am pretty sure there is one in each county of the state you live in.
