I.M.O, I think it means that the balances of life are working normally......when there is one situation, or thing, at work; there is always a counterbalance to even things out....such as your example being Evil vs. Good.....without this natural law in effect, there is unbalance and chaos....how can anyone possibly understand one thing without knowing about its opposing facet first? We would never know the concept of Good, if there was no Evil.....ttfn.....*smile*

Evil can't win over good. Even when the right thing cost you your life, and sometimes it does. You win with God. Doing evil will eventually get you to Hell, if you don't repent. How is that winning?

It means that in a particular place at a particular time what one views as "evil" won a contest with what one views as "good".
Those we view as evil do not see themselves as evil. If anything they view us as the evil ones with themselves defending rightousness.
It is just a matter of what side you are on.
