The Church has certainly recounted that Jesus died for individuals's sins. This is sufficient to turn out that Jesus died for every person's sins and is the right way to get into heaven. The Church is god's consultant on the earth. This is why protestantism fails for the reason that protestantism is based most effective at the bible and not anything else. Sunnis & shias might have an understanding of this dilema given that they are not able to depend on simply the quran both, for the reason that the whole solutions are certainly not discovered in any holy e-book however by way of the phrase of mouth of very legit guys who hold what god wishes them to mention (for this reason the Talmud & rabbinic commentaries at the Torah; the Church for the bible; hadiths and tafsir for the quran). God wishes the church to mention Jesus died for individuals's sins. In two,000 years noone has ever been in a position to disprove this irrefutable reality; the proof is overwhelming. There's confrontation whether or not the correct church is the catholic church or the orthodox church, and if it is the orthodox church whether or not it is the japanese orthodox or the oriental orthodox church. If you pray tough sufficient, god would lead you to the correct church. EDIT: You must comply with his footsteps in being a well individual, worshipping god and so on. for the reason that that is what god wishes you to do. Believing in god does not robotically get you into heaven (protestants instruct this, however protestantism is arguably a heresy for misinterpreting verses), and non-notion in god does not robotically bar a individual from coming into heaven. Why used to be the resurrection ever wanted then? It used to be god's manner of repairing the harm that occured from Adam & Eve. Rainbows are god's reminder that he will certainly not flood the complete earth once more; it would be stated "why did not he simply exhibit rainbows with out ever having a flood?"... there rather is not any finish to questions of this variety, however the realistic and transparent reply is stlil the exceptional and proper one.

It must be recalled that . . . this reconciliation with God leads, as it were, to other reconciliations, which repair the other breaches caused by sin. The forgiven penitent is reconciled with himself in his inmost being, where he regains his innermost truth. He is reconciled with his brethren whom he has in some way offended and wounded. He is reconciled with the Church. He is reconciled with all creation. "(John Paul II)
1470 In this sacrament, the sinner, placing himself before the merciful judgment of God, anticipates in a certain way the judgment to which he will be subjected at the end of his earthly life. For it is now, in this life, that we are offered the choice between life and death, and it is only by the road of conversion that we can enter the Kingdom, from which one is excluded by grave sin. In converting to Christ through penance and faith, the sinner passes from death to life and "does not come into judgment."
In short, you can unload sins, get graces to avoid sins, and lessen the burdon on Judgement Day. Kinda like when you play a video game. You don't need to get the extra sheilds, guns, or coins to win the level played ... but it makes it a hella lot easier to complete and advance to the next level.

How can you be forgiven if you didn't ask God to forgive you for your sins? Yes, Jesus died for everybody. But whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. If you believ and ask God in a prayer that you want Jesus to die for your sins too, only then you are redeemed. We owe God many things. One of them is our salvation. If you accept Jesus as your savior, He wants you to follow Him and have personal relationship with him. If you have more questions, we could talk more

he died to forgive, but it is a gift, one which we must 'take' and make our own. His forgiveness isnt a 'blanket' that covered everything and everyone.... it is something that is given only when we confess, repent and ask for that forgiveness, and we are forgiven as we forgive others....
a change happens when you turn from the sins... you can't keep going back to them as if they are forgiven for free, and since you like that sin, you can just keep doing it. if your heart hasnt changed towards Christ, then you havent accepted Him and His forgiveness

Pretty simple really, it's not about asking for forgiveness. Luke 13:3 sums it up nicely. Unless you repent you shall all likewise perish. Repentance is turning away from sin toward God. Godly sorrow for your sin leads to repentance, not to be regretted, worldly sorrow, feeling sorry because you got caught, leads to death, 2 Corinthians 7:10

H-E-L-L-O!!! You need to repent and accept Jesus' wonderful gift. The Bible says several times in many different ways that as Christ followers we need to be like HIM. Well, because he was perfect and without sin, and we are SINNERS we need to repent and ask for forgiveness. For HIM to spare us from the flames of Hell by suffering an agonizing death on the cross is it too much to ask to simply ask for forgiveness?

Ahhhh, so you now understand that you have been granted immunity for all laws that are still in existence.
You are asking why you should care about these laws, since you dont have to worry about breaking them.
Because. if you truely cared about the one who gave you this immunity, you would be sick to your stomach at the thought of letting this wonderful person down and breaking a law created by them, even though you wouldnt get in trouble anyway.
You should love this one so much that you wouldnt dream of letting him down, and when you did let him down, you should be heartbroken that you did. And of course you would want him to know that you were very upset and heartbroken that you had broken his rules and laws.
Just because you can no longer be eternally punished by the breaking of the laws, you should still be very upset when you did break them and want Jesus to know how sorry you are that you did break his law.

Jesus did not die for all, but for all the Father has given to Him. His sacrifice was sufficient for all, but only effectual for the chosen.
Knowing that He suffered for my sins, and that He is my beloved, I will make every effort He affords me that I will not be a contributor to one more stripe in my stead.
