Lindsey is a family name from Essex (England). It's use as a first name, especially for girls, is quite recent so the old equivalencies across languages just don't exist.

Some people want to associate Lindsay with the linden, or lime, tree, also known as Tilia. I suppose you could look to translate those instead.

I speak spanish and the spelling of your name would remain the same the pronunciation would be something like this= "Lindsey" instead of prononcing your name with the "a" it would be with the "e" and the reason for for doing this is to give it the spanish or latino accent, hope this helps!!
