Because he was Sugar Cain. Do you know that the hell believers took the word out of their Hebrew scriptures? Can you believe that? I counted 9 out of 13 of their accepts Bible versions. Just wait a little while and it will be 13 and you'll be OK. They did that because sheol means grave in Hebrew. Everybody says so and I asked a Hebrew besides. You can't beat that, he said with some humor.

Probably for the same reasons that many people today are not worried about. They don't believe in it, or they are convinced that they are "too good" to go there.

Odds are that Cain felt justified in killing Abel, and he had convinced himself he had done nothing wrong. So why would he worry about hell?

Same holds true of the Sodom and Gomorrah. They were just doing the same thing as everybody else. Not like God would destroy the whole city or something....

Very few people really take the time to consider what the consequences of their actions will be even in this life, let alone the next.

God sent Abraham to warn the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah about God's impending punishment. Abraham went back and forth with God trying to negotiate more time for the people. In the end, Abraham could not present to God enough worthy people to stop His wrath against those cities. They were warned.
No one knows for sure if Cain is in hell; I don't know if that is mentioned in the bible, but he did know his actions were wrong, because he tried to hide away from God. God called out looking for him and inquired of him the whereabouts of Abel. Cain became very defensive. He could have admitted the truth to God and sought forgiveness, but instead he remainded hard-hearted to the end. In essence, God did give him a chance. He could have struck Cane down immediatley.

For the same reason that people today continue to live in sin. They would rather enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.

But the "pride of life" holds them back from confessing the "lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes" so they never repent.

And, by the way, the reality of hell, or anything else, is not dependent on people to believe or disbelieve in it. Something is real if it is real, no matter HOW many people don't believe it.

And gravity still works.

Just some logic questions as a response:

1) How do we know he wasn't?

2) Does not knowing about something, or not being warned about it, make it impossible for it to be real?

They already knew about death, and thats all they needed to know since the Hell is just the grave of mankind.

Jesus referred to the people he resurrected as being "asleep". He did not state that he was going to bring them out of heaven.

Many passages of the bible proves that burning in hell for ever and ever is just a man made belief and a false doctrine.

Shouldn't Cain learned from his parents mistakes?

It's not real... the idea doesn't find any real support in the Hebrew Scriptures. The 'proof' in the Greek Scriptures is often misapplied.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Revelation 14:10
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
