It should cost about $100. More or less.

It may be cheaper at the aspca.
I work at Petco in Tampa, and we have something called the Neuter Scooter that comes once a month, you just bring your dog in the morning and a vet van comes to bring them to the clinic, and brings them back that evening. It costs between $70 and 100, transportation is free. I don't know how many other Petcos in the US do this, so check the ones around you.

I think you should check out if there are any deals available to you. Some humane society's offer discounts made by vetrinarians to ease the cost of a new pet. I paid around 100.00 for my dog, but this included a fifty dollar adoption fee, of which I got back twenty five after I got her fixed. That left me around 75.00 for the surgury. The Vetrinarian gave me a twenty percent discount, and performed a complete physical. I live in Kansas, if you live in a bigger city, I've known rates to be as high as 150 to 200.00. If you have a pure breed with AKC registry, I would think about breeding your dog at least once if they are female. Females really settle down after a litter of pups.

Depends on where you live and what vet you take him to. In the general vacinity with medication they send home with you probably around $100 - $130
**Good for you for being a responsible dog owner and getting your pup neutered.**** Six months is a perfect time to get them fixed!!!

Neutering is cheaper than the spaying (for females). If you are concerned about cost, call the vet and ask for phone numbers to animal rescue groups. They may be able to help out with transportation and costs.
