For my cat's birthday (six months) I was thinking of getting her a 'skirt' or 'pants' and putting a nice crown on her and may be put some lipstick and eye shadow and mascara etc ..( she is a female and probably loves makeup )

What do cat like for their birthdays ??

Haha I can only hope you're joking.... it's a sweet thought, but I think that putting human clothes on a cat would be irritating to her and she'd probably claw or chew them off.

As for makeup, I'm pretty sure you should never put any sort of chemical on an animal ~ especially not makeup or other chemicals that are made especially for human skin/hair.

That being said, can I ask how you plan on getting a 6-month-old kitten to patiently keep her eyes closed for the application of eye shadow? And what eyelashes do you plan to put mascara on?

Thirdly, let me be the first (though I'm sure I won't be the only one) to point out that "all females love makeup" is a stereotype that is often not true.

Maybe for her birthday, buy her some special treats or a new toy from the pet store (try something she can chase after, like one of those wands that has a string or feathers or fuzzy things dangling down for her to swat at). Occasionally, I share tiny bits of my sushi with my cat ~~ she loves it, even though it tends to make her gassy and smelly later that day.

honey, don't put make-up on the cat...you'll make her sick if she eats it and even more sick if she gets it in her eyes!
no cat would enjoy make-up...alot of human girls don't enjoy make-up either!
some cats don't like clothes, others seem to like the attention they get while wearing clothes:
if you want to buy her a nice outfit you can go to target, walmart, or petco...they've got t-shirts and dresses for small dogs and cats (you'll have better luck finding something for a small dog than you will for a cat, but your cat will still look good in it) find out about how many inches long she is and how much she weighs in order to size her (size charts are usually on the back of of the hanger) and expect to pay anywhere from $10 to $20
instead of make-up, you can paint her claws with nail polish because that is safe to do
DON'T FEED HER CHOCOLATE CAKE
chocolate can make her very sick, in fact it can kill her
if you want to give her something fun to eat buy a can of salmon (or a can of wet cat food) and shape the food on a plate to look like a birthday cake, top the kitty birthday cake with some cat treats or dry food
you can also buy a small pint of "cat milk" at petco for like $2 and most cats consider this a fun treat (don't give her the milk you drink, that isn't good for her to eat)
for presents, decorate a shoe box with wrapping paper and throw a ball inside: she'll love laying inside the box and chasing the ball around
happy birthday!
(my kitten has his first year birthday next month and I'm planning a party for him as well)

First of all, cats do not like to be dressed up. Makeup is dangerous to put on your cat. If you want a present for a cat, give her a treat or new toy.

And while you're at it, get the same for yourself. Cats love when their owners dress up and put on makeup just like them. Then you two can be twin dweebs together!!

Does she have a kitty car? What about a rim job or a pearl necklace?
