I just got pierced and feel like telling everyone (not strangers, but friends) does this mean I'm a perv or is it a normal reaction? (this is my first piercing, a frenum).

ptsh, I'd tell my friends! If I were a man with a frenum piercing that is. I'd be like "GUESS WHAT I JUST PIERCED!" but...I wouldn't follow it up with "wanna see?"
but then again, me and my friends are all open like that...:o)

lol, well i know what you mean (for the most part). Whenever i get a piercing or tattoo i want to show it to everyone. The problem is, yours is in a rather.. *ahem* not socially acceptable area? Meaning it could kind of freak out your friends if you tell them you got your penis pierced.
So yeah, it's normal to want to show off your new mod, it just so happens that yours is in a rather non-show-offable area, if you know what i mean.

it doesnt mean your a perv for telling people you got a piercing quite recently but it its somewhere rude i wouldnt go telling people out of the blue in a couple of months time good for you for getting a piercing though i hate needles...

No, I don't think that makes you a perv at all. I think its natural to want to share a bit of new information with your friends. Sort of like what we do with really juicy gossip.
But why would you wanna poke extra holes in your little buddy anyway?

Nah...it's normal to want to show off your private metal. As long as your friends are cool with it, show it off! Be sure to take care of that one, it's certainly a piercing you never want to be infected!

No, it's not pervy at all.... They're your friends, I'm sure they won't think you're strange. Now if you were to tell random people, that would be kind of odd.... When I got my chest tattoo I showed all of my friends by lifting up my shirt, and they didn't mind it.....
