For my sister's bridal shower, I made buffalo chicken sandwiches. I bought frozen chicken breasts and a package of buffalo seasoning. After I cooked the chicken I put it in the fridge overnight. The next morning, I bought loaves of french bread and cut it down to size and assembled them using toothpicks. Everyone loved them. For her baby shower a year later I made mini roast beef croissant sandwiches. You can buy little croissants, then put anything on them. I made mine with deli roast beef and swiss cheese. You could essentially put anything on french bread or croissants. You could buy a baguet and make apple and brie sandwiches. You could put chicken salad on mini croissants, you could do tomato, onion and fancy cream cheese on french bread slices. Get creative!

Cheese Rolls.
Spread sandwich bread with butter or margarine and sprinkle with grated tasty cheese and fold into 3.
Place under a heated grill, and toast turning when the first side is done. Spread with butter on the top and serve.
Options; add some spring onions, chives or garlic chives, spread bread with butter and Vegemite, or make with cold mince.
Options; To toast, use a sandwich press, George Foreman Grill etc.
Rolls.
Take a slice of sandwich bread and spread it with butter or margarine.
With a corner of a square or rectangle of bread pointing toward you, place across bread corner to corner the filling and roll up.
Fillings to consider:
Shredded chicken with some S & P or mayo
Asparagus spears
Surimi, a few slim slices of lettuce and a seafood dressing.
Present with the open ends upper most so people will see the filling they want
These could be cut down to bite sized pieces.
Sandwiches made with regular bread cut into 4 with crusts removed would do. Cut them at the angle as they look a little classier.

For the bread - hit the deli isle or Fresh Market. There are little precut sliced breads in many different flavors. Or find the small little dinner rolls.
For the sandwhiches - you have a thousand choices. Ham/Turkey/Club all are great hits. So are different cheeses, chicken salad, tuna salad, watercress, muffalettas, sandwich spreads of different assortments. Most of this, depending on your time, can be picked up in the deli of any major market. Fresh Market or Trader Joes (if you are so lucky to have one) have a great assortment of different and unique items that are not your everyday affair, they are premade and you are set.

Make your favorite sandwiches (use flat bread slices) and then cut them up using bite size cookie cutters. You can buy them according to the theme of your party.

Mix one pkg. cream cheese, half of a small can of crushed pineapple, drained, and three tbsp. chopped pecans. Put between two slices of sourdough bread, remove crusts and cut into quarters. It may sound a little strange, but it's really very good!
