I had just met the person a week ago, it was a felony

arrest warrant served at his home i was present. They searched my belongings ,was not read miranda at all, i advised them of a warrant from another state, advised i was only in town to work,had suspended license,they said find someone to set up a deal with , dont try no **** like i lost the number or they would be doing the same to me. they were asking about a specific size amount of G. I hadnt seen anything of the such,their answer to me saying i just met the guy i only working here the officer said well you found this guy you can find another one.

Go meet with the public defender and advise them of the situation, ask for their help. They can't force you to get involved any further. If no charges were brought against you and you were not found in possesion of any illegal substances during the initial search then you should be fine.

The warrant is another issue. You need to handle that ASAP.

Do yourself a favor & go to jail. When you are there, keep your mouth shut & start doing some listening to the other inmates. You will find that there is a pattern to your behavior & that the others will also possess some of the same patterns that lead them & you to end up in jail. Your first instincts are being ignored. I'll bet that before you ever became involved with this mystery person, you heard a little voice in your heard that was saying something like this, "Wow this person seems strange & somethings not right" You ignored this & NOW you are worried about the cops? Wake the f**k up! Start listening to your first instincts & you won't have these types of problems.

The reason why they didnt read you the Miranda warning is because you were not under arrest. You were taken into custody for further investigation. They weren't harrassing you...they are investigating a felony crime incident that your friend committed...and you being present in his home gives that the reasonable doubt that you are close tied to this guy to know his whereabouts....otherwise what were you doing inside his house?? (sounds like a drug house to me).

If you dont know...then you dont know. It's not a crime not to know, but it is pretty odd that you appear to be a working man hanging out with a felon. If you just met the guy for a week, don't cover up for him cuz its not worth it.

You don't need a lawyer for now cuz you are not arrested. But if you feel like you are related to whatever crime he committed, start calling lawyers for advice and price quotes.

You need to just keep your mouth shut. IF YOU DONT then your in more trouble; sounds like you made some kind of deal with them and then backed out. YES! They WILL harass you. They will even leave messages on your answering machine for all to hear. My friend did what they wanted and she still went to prison. They'll through you to the wolve's after you rat. Turn yourself in or RUN.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to be speak to an attorney, and to have an attorney present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be provided for you at government expense.

If any of what you are saying is true, you need to chat with a lawyer. If not, stop asking the question over and over.

I am convinced that you are leaving out a MAJOR part of the story or you are lying completely.
