is it because it debunks the fairy tales in the bible? it exposes your ignorance? Evolution is a fact backed by 200 years of evidence. it is supported by DNA evidence, fossil evidence, anatomical evidence, lab evidence (bacterial resistance) and others.
so what proof is available to prove the creation story?

while the "missing link" hasnt been found, there is overwhelming evidence pointing to it. for example..while in the womb, the human fetus for a brief time has both a tale and gills.....

I love it when people like Derek lie by saying there is no evidence to evolution. It's people like him that prevent this country from ever moving forward and why the world is surpassing us in science and math

While I havent read the bible from cover to cover, I have studied the stories and went to church when I was younger. it doesnt take a genious to figure out that you cant part the sea, rise after being dead for 72 hours, see a talking burning bush, see angels, walking on water, etc is pure fantasy. even some reatards I know can figure this out

the bible isnt meant to be taken literally, it represents the personification of the ancient science of astrology. if you take it literally then you need to do some research and figure out that the son of god is really the sun of god. (not you, the others people )
PS evolution has nothing to do with faith you tards. it is a collection of facts and evidence that leads to the most logical conclusion... and we didnt "come from apes" as you imagine - if you stopped to think about religion for a minute you would realize that. religion makes the assertion that their ideas are not debatable which is why faith is ridiculous. nothing is known for sure including silly things like creationism and this is why faith is ridiculous. everything is up for debate in the face of evidence so stop pretending evolution is absolutely wrong just because scientists admit that the theory can change SLIGHTLY as more facts are learned.

We get this proud and errant viewpoint often. Did you think that you were being original?
I tell you what, I won't tell you about the proof of creation ( even though all you have to do is be aware of what's around you) , and you can believe whatever you want about your religion.
You have faith in Evolution, I see things that are not likely of Evolution, there is evidence against it. And you see evidence of it. That's okay, have faith in what's important to you, that's what I do so why would I try to stop you?
Here is some evidence against evolution.
1) There is a species of Sphinx moth here in California. It is grey on the top, and white on the underbelly. It comes out at night. It hovers like a hummingbird in front of Ipomea and tomatoes, and Trachelospermum jasminoides. It has a probiscus that resembles a hummingbird's beak, it has compound eyes that blends in with the grey of the body. It has false eye markings exactly where a hummingbird's eyes would be, with the same scale that a hummingbirds eyes would be. IT is about the size of the hummingbirds around here, which makes it a rather large moth.
2) There is a species of Hebe that resembles a Juniper. It has a growth habit which also resembles a Juniper. The leaves are scaly just as a typical juniper is. It leaves are also pale blueish green, resembling some of the Juniperus Genus. But the Hebe is in no way a close relative of the Junipers of the world. It is a member of the Snapdragon family: Scropulariacea. And it blooms (of course) quite unlike the blooms of the Cupressaceae which is coniferous.
So there you go! That's why I don't think that Evolution is true.

You think we're afraid of evolution? HaHaHaHaHa!!!! You're funny.
I do think it's an important theory to study though. Let's see if I got the story straight. Some goo turned into a fish. The fish grew legs and crawled out of the swamp. Then he grew hair. Then he shaved off the hair and became a truck driver.
I'm not sure what DNA evidence you are talking about. Last time I heard, there has never been a case where more DNA information was added. That would need to definitely happen to have organisms evolve into more complex ones.
I'm not sure what fossil evidence you are talking about. At the non-Christian college that totally believes and teaches evolution that I attended, they said they expected there to be gradual shifts between species to show up as they dig up more fossils. There are NONE that have been found yet though. They now think that catastrophic events cause rapid changes that aren't recorded in the fossil record. Keep digging!
I'm not sure what anatomical evidence you are talking about either. Please explain it to me.
That leaves you with bacteria. That's your evidence? Micro-evolution happens and nobody argues, but that does not explain where we come from.

I am definitely NOT afraid of the concept of evolution...why should I be afraid of something that doesn't exist? If Evolution existed, don't you think that you would see monkeys / apes evolving into humans right before your very eyes? Come on now, gimmie a break! That was just a THEORY, since monkey's DNA is close to human DNA. I believe there were cavemen / women, people with very little intellegence that followed animals and learned how to hunt and survive as animals do, but evolution is FICTION. The scriptures in the Bible were found many EONS ago...written in Hebrew, and it was in journal / diary form...why would someone take that much of their time to "make up" things to write? In biblical times, I am sure people had better things to do than to make up ficticious stories.
GOD IS REAL...Just open your heart and your mind and hopefully you will someday see that. Have faith, then you will have all the proof you need!

Why do so many people mix up the words "afraid" and "disagree" -- Disagreeing with something is not being afraid of it. It just means that your "evidence" is highly illogical, the result of closed minds that are unwilling to allow the possibility of God into the mix when looking for answers. I know many bright scientific minds that initially set out to disprove God, but they were also open minded, and in the end, they found that God was the only logical choice. There are 2 sides to every story, but the closed minded people are the ones who miss out. I've seen both sides, and I chose God.

Why do U say they are Afraid??? As I see it, all the Catholics here have Always professed to be the "Only True Christians/church" and now their "Fearless Leader the Papa" has, by "Denying" the "Creation Story", (in agreeing with Evolution) made them all part of the "Primordial Pool of Scum" Fearing not even God!!! Surely, such a Great Scholar during the Nazi Regime is totally Fearless of God & his Ardent Followers would be as well!!! Sir, I think U Insult the Intelligence of this Board with such Accusations!!! Show me some of that evidence. If evolution is so convincing why wont somebody like Dawkins debate Behe face to face. There is no evidence. Not even a trace.Send me a link.Send me a picture of an intermediate fossil.Send me test results where life was created in a test tube.Do you think for a second that if someone had concrete proof they would be able to keep their mouth shut? No.They would blabber about it to the whole world. There is no evidence period.Evolution is unproven.

Evolution has not in any way been proved, hence the word "theory". The same evidence you use I use to prove creation is fact. Face it, you just don't want to see the truth. I laugh when people call the Bible fairy tales, but will believe we come from apes when their is absolutely NO proof of that. I say it is you sir who are afraid.

The various arrangements and combinations of “letters” in DNA provide all the information needed to instruct a single human fertilized egg to grow, multiply, and shape itself into a fully recognizable baby. Each of the cells in that baby contains a copy of that DNA with all the information to operate the human body for a lifetime. DNA is the most compact information storage system in the world; no computer of human invention can approach the quantity and complexity of information it contains.
DNA even contains the instructions to devise the cellular machinery to decode its instructions. Without a mechanism to decode the information, the DNA blueprint would be useless. Even if DNA had managed to evolve the decoding mechanism to read it would have had to evolve at precisely the same time. This scenario is impossible because the instructions for building the decoding unit are contained in the DNA itself.
A vicious cycle.
Evolutionary theory accepts additions and deletions of information as evidence of evolution of a population. The problem is that through the imagined history of life on earth, the information content of the genomes of organisms must have increased dramatically. Beginning with the most primitive form of life, we have a relatively simple genome compared to the genomes that we see today. Mutations are said to provide the fuel for the evolutionary engine. Virtually all observed mutations result in a loss in the information content of a genome. There would need to be some way to consistently add information to the genome to arrive at palm trees and people from a simple single-celled organism—the hypothetical common ancestor of all life on earth. Evolutionists have failed to answer the question, “Where did all the new information come from since mutations are known to reduce information?” You cannot expect evolution, which requires a net gain in information over millions of years, to occur as a result of mutation and natural selection. Natural selection, evolution’s supposed mechanism, causes a loss of information and can only act on traits that are already present!

Evolution is not a science Evolution defies mathematical probability. Evolution defies laws of physics (second law of thermodynamics.)
Evolution claims, random change & natural selection make simple things spontaneously transform into more complex things without recourse to intelligent design. Chance and random changes simply do not produce higher levels of organization & complexity.
