Pilates is one of the best things to do if you want to get rid of your belly fat.

The reason you are not getting results is because you are trying to do spot-treatment, which means you are trying to work out only one area of your body. That never works.

What you need to do is a lot of cardio. You should do cardio 4 or 5 times a week and about 5-7 miles each time. Cardio can be done in both the gym or at home/outdoors and with all different bugets in mind.

You can:
go running
jogging
jump-rope
jumping-jacks
dancing
roller blading
skiing
hiking
walking

Or you can use:
treadmill
step climber
elliptical

In addition to that, cut down on carbs if it is more than 65% of your diet. Take in more protein, fruits, and vegetables. You can also see great benefits by drinking water instead of soft drinks, getting more hours of sleep, not eating after 7pm and limiting the calories you eat (but not starving!).

Good luck and email me with more questions:

Here are a few more tips if you want to use them if you don't already:

-More cardio (dance, walk, jogg, bike, run, yoga jump rope, jumping jacks) You have to do some type of cardio for atleast an hour every day.

-Leg lifts, crunches, and PILATES help with your mid section too.

-Drink more water, 8-10 glasses of water everyday.

-Cut down on the carbs (there's good, and bad carbs. The bad cars are chips, sodas etc.), fats, and sugars you consume.

-Try to eat more fiber, protein, and have some wheat too.

-Lift weights, the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns.

-If you feel like you are hungry try to have some water, but if you want food, then try to snack in between meals only have fruit and veges, apple, carrot sticks, remember try to eat an apple and banana a day.

-I suggest taking out all fizzy drinks and juices.

-Have a good breakfast. Breakfast is so important.

-Eat lean meat.

-I started swimming every morning about 3 weeks ago before I ate breakfast, so far I have lost about 20 pounds of fat, and have gone down 2 waist sizes. I look, and feel way better because when you do a form of cardio exercise before you eat, you are burning the stored fat (stomach, and everything else), other than burning the food you just ate. Plus swimming burns fat, and tones up your muscles. 2 In 1!

Good luck!

just give it time. if you're eating well, and exercising, you will. just drink about 8 glasses of water, and cut out soda. it's not gonna happen over night. and are you sucking in when you do sit ups? if you don't suck in, that can actually make your stomach bigger.
