My School Christian Fellowship will be organising RE Week in school. All of our members had discuss and came up with the 'Transformers' theme. I'm still stuck as I'm not sure what our main title should be and maybe a catchy slogan as well. We chose 'Transformers' because it's current and modern and something that will attract the other students. One member said Optimus Prime was like Jesus because Optimus Prime was ready to sacrifice his life for the world if he had to where as Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world to save us from eternal death. The slogan or something like that in 'Transformers' was "Their war, our world". We had an idea that we could use is "His sacrifice, our lives". I would like to hear more ideas from you all as I want to choose the best title and slogan for our RE Week. I would really appreciate all your creative ideas. Thanks so much and God bless.

Is this a religious emphasis week, or a Christian emphasis week?

Your post alludes to the latter, so I am quite confused.

Try the Tranformers original slogan "More then meets the eye". Through the power of God we are more then we would appear to be from the outside. Each has the power within to transform their own life and the world around them into something that pleases God.

Since you are using the Transformers theme why don't you use a slogan that talks about the transformation in life that occurs after you accept Jesus.

Wow - you know, Jesus really IS just like Optimus Prime.

I'll be honest, I'm not a Christian, so you can discount my opinion accordingly. But this kind of thing always annoys me. Jesus is not "current and modern," nor should he be. I hate all those t-shirts that try to make Christianity "cool." Even if you are a Christian, don't you think that trivializes your religion?

How about, "A New Beginning that Transforms Lives"

Or, you can just leave it, "A New Beginning"

Or you can add something else at the end of Beginning.

your school is teaching a subject what we are supposed to do away with considering the present turmoil. probably, you can discuss the logic of prescribing such subject. school will be attended by children of all religion. when you are discussing with one religion, that goes against the religion of other children. religion should not be a subject for teaching. rather the necessity to abandon discussion on religion can be discussed!

Maybe use the Transformer's font and call it Transformation? Then, your subtitle would work really well, also.

I think you have a good one there with "His sacrifice, our lives." Very nice. Good luck and God Bless You!

Ahhh, how sweet. Make sure you brainwash them real good so they have no chance for expanding their horizons. As someone said before me, it doesn't seem to encompass the title it's been given. It's simply christian from what you've written. How about making your slogan, "Christianity, don't follow, burn in hell!"

Hmmm.... More Than Meets The Eye?
God IS, after all!

Just be careful not to let the ACLU know what you're doing!
