Yes, time had a beginning. Time is a measure of change. Time began when the created universe was created. Before there was anything that could change there was no time.
God exists outside of time: He has no beginning and no end, and He never changes, since He is perfect and change would imply some sort of imperfection.
The best book to read on this is "Theology and Sanity" by Frank Sheed.

Great question.

No way to know for sure, of course. As a deist, I think there is a God and he was the big bang. I see the question, 'what created god' and I have no answer.

A friend asked me once to define time. That is a toughy.

Hawking says, " Time had a beginning at the event of the big bang singularity. Before that, its consequences are irrelevant."

You should read " A Brief History of Time " by Stephen Hawking.

Yes - time, space, mass and energy all emerged at the Big Bang.

Mathematically, time is just another value in most cases, and no less inclined to go forward and back, begin and end, than space. Our brains just don't have a handle on it as a dimension.

Um,m, well seeing as we measure time according to the rotations and revolutions of the earth around the sun, it would imply that time began when the earth did, and therefore it was created when the earth was created, and by the same individual.

Of course time had a beginning, when Yahweh created light from the darkness..actually time existed before then, but they couldn't read the clocks, being as there was no light to see by.

Does "the ends of the earth" imply the earth has an end?

No, both of these phrases are used metaphorically.
