It will take much more than our meager words to reach those people. They are fully entrenched in this horrible idea that a mother has the right to have her child killed. That's why they can't stand the more truthful term: Pro-abortion.

it extremely is a competent question, i could desire to appreciate the respond as properly. And no i do no longer think of which you're condoning homicide in any way by potential of asking this question. It does continually look some Christian communities that oppose abortion vehemently, and that i haven't yet heard of a Jew or Muslim killing a doctor that could grant abortion to woman. What say you all?

Pro-choice is not the same as saying abortion is ok. It’s saying you have to make the choice for yourself. No one is taking away a pro-life person right to decide not to have an abortion. When you swat a mosquitoes you are murdering a creature of God’s. So don’t think the murder only apply to people. All creatures are precious in his sight. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. What you do about that is up to you. God gave us free will, we are born with the ability to choose. No one should take that God given ability away from us. Especially when it has to do with our own bodies. I don’t think you have any more of a right to tell me I can not have an abortion the you have to tell me I can’t have a tattoo. It’s my body, my life, my choice. I’m the only one that has to live with my decision. For better or for worst God gave us freewill and we should not take that away from a group of people, just because we don’t agree with them. You are not being harmed by their choices. In this time of over population we need to work at stopping unwanted pregnancies before they happen. Why are pro-life folks against birth control?
God breathed into Adam the breath of life. So as far as I’m concerned until that baby takes it’s first breath, it’s still a part of my body for me to choose what to do. What about all the babies that don’t make it to full term. Isn’t God committing the abortions there?

I am a Christian and I am not "pro-abortion", but I am pro-choice. While I wish that some would not use abortion as a means of birth-control, I refuse to see that right taken away from a woman, due to any other circumstances beyond her control.

And as one who has walked down that road, for reasons that are known to myself, my husband, and to God, He would have never allowed me to make that walk if it were not the right choice for us at that point in time. And trust me... there were prayers and tears and more prayers, all of them asking for guidance, support, and another way. And as I walked into the drs. office, it was with peace and His love.

So... until you have to face that horrid day when you have to make a decision that no parent wants to make, do not judge!!

Oh, and I do believe that John leaped in Elizabeth's womb. And the child in mine was dearly wanted and awaited.

#1 Labeling it pro abortion is like trying to label your side as "pro-life." Let's be realistic. It's either pro choice or anti choice. It isn't the act of abortion, it's about the individual's right to choose which they want. I don't support abortion, but I do support someone's right to do with their body as they will. Your attempts at demonizing it by mislabeling it isn't fooling anyone with half a brain.

#2 I highly doubt the bible talked of stages of development, and I think that's a main concern when discussing the topic.

The point at which the tissue becomes a child is debatable.

This has got to be the stupidest analogy I have ever seen in my life.

BTW, if you beat a pregnant woman to death today you are going to be charged with murder, just ask Scott Peterson.

I am not pro abortion, but please do not argue this anymore. The pro choice people are just going to point to you as an example of how stupid the opposing side is.

Whooo! It uses the word "child"! All the proof I needed! How about the passage about bashing a "child"'s brains out? (psalms 137:8-9).

Sorry, if you knew anything about Judaism you'd realize that Judaism does allow for abortion based on the concept of rodef, of a pursuer. Whether the mother's physical or psychological life is in danger, she is being pursued either way by the fetus and abortion is clearly allowed.

P.S. *Your* argument is idiotic.

A hospital in the U.S. with religious affiliations (that's 1/5th of all beds) can refuse to terminate a pregnancy where the fetus has absolutely no chance of surviving. In such a case, the mother is at high risk of life-threatening infection.

So the Catholic solution is to WAIT until infection has taken hold and the mother's life is in danger.

How is that any better?

Although i'm pro-life, I think quoting that scripture is wrong because in that same book of the bible it says I should treat my slaves well, and I can stone my wife.
