In some families, yes. I have 3 children of my own and yet, my mother still thinks she rules EVERYONE!! She makes life difficult for anyone who challenges her so I moved 100 miles away! LOL

Depends on the adult, depends on the son/daughter. However it doesn't mean when you argue you love each other any less. My youngest is forever picking on me (her mum) . If it's not what I wear, it's how I wear it, what I say is never right etc etc etc. Yet in my heart I know she would die for me. Also the horrible bit is this is exactly how I treated my mum. What she does/says still hurts but it is only at the age I am now that I realise what like it must have been for my mum. Perhaps years down the line you will one day do the same and feel the same as me. Answer to your question is don't worry about it. Yes! it still happens that you constantly argue although not necessarily every family member does.

yes adualts agure with their parents. No matter how old u r and ur parents are alive, u can agure with them cas in life nothing is perfect but we always want things right so always agure to put the things that r wrong, right.

a friend of mine is 68 years old and his mother is now 100 and yes, they still argue !!

some parents do not realise that kids become adults and the kids do not realise the parents get older

Can you define "normal". Your definition maybe different to mine, either way, could it be that your so much alike you just clash. That what i keep getting told anyway.

It depends on what kind of parents they have. If they have the controlling kind, then yes.
