I read in a survey somewhere. That in 1999 people between the age of 18-24 concumed the most chicken. The estimated amount for that year was 77 pounds of chicken.

I think this is from 2005 - According to US Poultry and Egg association just in the United States each American ate almost 70 pounds of chicken! This does not include eggs.
