my 13 birthday is coming up im a girl and i like dirt bikes and atvs and i have only 1000 dollars to spend my mom is being cheap .if i do get atvs i would still have 300 dollars. this so stupid what can you buy with 300 dollars. please don't say save it or give it to chairty

ONLY 1000 DOLLARS. WHAT IS YOUR CRAZY MOTHER THINKING?! Maybe shes thinking that a 13 year old should be happy with 1000 dollars. Kids don't usually get 1000 dollars for their 13th birthday. theres tonssss of stuff you can buy with 300 dollars. if i was you id be thrilled to have even 100 dollars. what about riding gear or isnt there something else your interested in other than dirtbikes and atvs? don't you need clothes or something. theres millions of people that don't have 1000 dollars but could probably think of millions of things to do with 10 DOLLARS. and theyd probably be more useful than dirtbikes. OR maybe your just too spoiled (remembering the fact that you think having only 300 dollars is stupid) and don't deserve anything. Happy Birthday....

wow... must be nice to be given 1000 dollars for a birthday. Not everyone is as fortunate as you. By the way there are lots of things you can buy for 300 dollars... there are tons of people out there that don't even have 300 dollars in their bank account. I hope one day you can understand what its like to not have money.

Your lucky you get to have 1000 dollars to spen cause i get like $100 or less to spend on my birthday and i am almost 13 too. I think you should just be thankful for what you have and think about all the people out there that dont have that much money to spend and give half of it to charity! Sounds like you are being spoiled!! $1000 is not being cheap!! My children would appreciate the money and be thankful that they have it! Please spend it wisely and lower your standards! You are 13, there is no reason in this world why you can't go with used either!! Tell your mother thank you for the VERY generous gift! She would probably love to hear it!

Is your mother out of her mind? Why would she give a 13yr old a $1000? There are plenty of kids out there that don't even get that much in a year. I think your mother needs to take it back and find something a little more reasonable as a gift.

Ok 1000$ for a birthday. Wow Are you Lucky. If you check the paper or craigslist.com you can sometimes find nice Dirtbikes for fairly cheap.

Sounds like you are greedy and selfish, who complains about $300.00. Also I think if you are saying your mom is being cheap only giving you $1000.00 then you should have lived with me. Not everyone has that kind of money to just throw at a 13 year old. So I would say buy something nice and appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe just giving it back and telling your mom thanks would make a world of difference, you might feel good who knows.

Maybe you can find a used dirt bike for $300 you can fix up. Then you'll have both.
