I am looking for a very accurate one to avoid dui. Can anyone suggest one approved by law enforcement or scientific community?

Looking for a Breathalyzer to avoid a DUI is NOT the way to go. NOT DRINKING is the way to avoid a DUI, or drinking in moderation. Keep this in mind: a normal sized person reaches the 0.08% level at about 4 drinks, irregardless of the type. It also takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours for EACH drink to exit your system. Larger people can drink a little more before they reach DUI level, smaller people a little less. If you want to avoid DUI, drink less, wait longer before you drive, or have a designated driver (or call a cab).

I've seen them on ebay. I can't suggest a specific one but there are a lot of models out there.

yeah, everybody's gotta give you grief for this, but I live in the real world. Some people can have a few drinks, feel stone cold sober and get a DUI. A person with one of these would be more aware and more sensitive of their condition and less likely to drive if they really knew of their BAC.

the best time to use the most accurate analyzer would
have to be just after you got pulled over, to ensure that
your reading and the cop's agree-

oops.
See the problem?
Drink less, or arrange for a ride. A lot less risky.

The better way to avoid DUI is to not drink and then drive. It is simple and requires not technological gizmos.
