You may be having un-resolved feelings over your ex. Maybe having doubts about whether or not it would have worked or not if you had stayed together. Sometimes we move on so quickly to get past the pain we feel from the other relationship that we still harbor those feelings and doubts and realize we really loved the other person. Take things slow. If you still love the ex and he loves you, that maybe something you want to think about. If you don't both feel the same about it though, its probably not going to work out. Both people have to want to work on things to make it work. The thing is though, you have to get all those feelings resolved or it will make it hard in your new relationship. Goodluck.

Do you see your ex-boyfriend or talk to him or work with him or just see him around? If so, then that is your problem. Stay away from him if you want to get him off your mind.

Otherwise, I can't help but wonder about you and Steve. Most of the time when people pine after their ex's, it means something is wrong in their life right now. We tend to idealize our past loves to compensate for what is missing in our current relationships. You remember all the good stuff, and conveniently forget all the bad. Your ex is your ex for a reason!

I recommend figuring out what is missing from your life right now. If you can honestly say that it is just your ex, then maybe you ought to give him a call! Otherwise, fix the real problem in your life, and you'll get over the ex in no time.

let me guess Steve is a nice guy, and your ex was a bad boy, and the reason you broke us was because he was chasing other women or was seeing other women.
If so, than you are not alone, it happen to everyone of us, male and female.... the desire for what we could not have and control....
