You've got no chance of a flight to Paris for less than £20. Fuel tax is £10! I suggest you buy a homing pidgeon as it will bring you back as well, for £20. If you are looking for cheap flights, you get what you pay for. Go for Easyjet and you can almost guarantee they will have a way to delay you and charge an extra £150 thus making them the most expensive airline. I alway fly with either BA, Lufthansa, KLM, Swiss Air or Al Italia if flying to Europe. For £60 I know that I will get there and for no extra cost if there are delays, unlike the budget airlines that use delays to rip you off. Also, when flying with the big airlines, you get some decent food whilst on board and it costs you no more. You get free grub, free coffee (as much as you want) free beer, wine etc. Fly budget and expect to pay at least a couple of pounds for a soggy sandwich and at least £1 for a cup of tea. When fog hit Heathrow and my flight was delayed by 2 hours, I missed my connecting flight from Geneva. Swiss Air got me on the next flight (six hours later), gave me vouchers for food and refreshments and faxed my destination to inform the person meeting me that I was delayed. Swiss Air offered all this to me, I didn't need to ask. I have had similar experiences with BA in the past as well. The major airlines tend to offer their services to you without asking but the budget airlines will offer nothing and if you miss a connecting flight, it will cost you more than double the cost of flying with a major airline. Therefore, stop being so tight and pay for a good service rather than a two bit one. If you are expecting a flight from Belfast to Paris for less than £20, you'll have a long wait and I dread to think of what you will eat etc. when you get there.

I'd take the Eurostar, personally. It really doesn't take that much longer than flying, considering the time needed to taxi out to the runway wait for clearance, and land/dock at the other airport. They usually have very low fares (around 60 pounds roundtrip), serve food, and run every hour for a high level of convenience. Otherwise, I'd look to Ryanair and easyJet for low fares. Just be warned, these flights are NOT comfortable and often fly into little airports quite a distance from the city center.

Just remember to check the luggage capacity for each airline. Usually they let you carry one bag and charge you extra for additional.
