Do you and your companions like it?
Well then, there you go.
(Incidentally, Carlo is made by Gallo; King of the bang for your buck wines. Also try Redwood Creek, Turning Leaf, Barefoot, or Rancho Zabaco....also Gallo products.)

If you want inexpensive but still of decent quality, a number of 5-liter boxed wines are now available in most places that carry Paisano. I have tried several brands and varieties and they all compare with your Rossi Paisano blend.
Plus, they stay 'fresh' in the gravity-feed foil package (no oxygen gets to the wine).
Try the Fetzer white-zin or burgundy.
IMO: 2-Buck Chuck: the Chardonnay and Shiraz are OK, but the Merlot and Cab are only good for cooking.

There are two good ones that I have been drinking lately, both French. One is called Red Bicyclette and the other is called Fat Bastard (seriously). They both come in a number of varieties and should be around $10 a bottle. I like the Shiraz for both.

How close are you to a trader Joe's?
Their line of Two-Buck Chuck (with the exception ofthe Shiraz) is a marevelous drink-it-now wine

Don't know the brand you're talking about - but we like Little Penguin and Yellowtail. Very inexpensive Australian wines, and very good.

Great choice...Can't beat it for the price. Tastes good, not too heavy, goes with most foods.
