I got Pokemon Diamond for my DS a couple of weeks ago and I've been obsessed with it. My girlfriend and I have been on two dates since and she always whines because I play my DS during that time. She is driving me up the wall. It's always, "Why can't you put your DS away and play it later?" and all this other annoying garbage.

Please tell me she's being ridiculous. How do I tell her I'm going to play my DS on our dates no matter what happens?

well theres nothing wrong with playing it when your not with her but if you do it when you to are on a date than that prabliy hurts her and makes her feel less important than the game. just remember there's a time and place for everything

Guessing you don't like your girlfriend all that much. Not to worry though, with your attitude, she'll be gone in no time. You'll look up from your DS to grab a french fry and realize that you have been sitting alone for the last 3 hours...

The game won't get jealous, but she will. Figure it out before she figures you out.

Good luck. Most 9 year olds have already beat the game, but maybe you can do it better...

dude you could play with a little more than the DS on your dates if yuo just put it down. play the DS before bed and in free time. maybe even in school
The girl likes the attention if you stick with the DS you will lose the A-S-S. No more pkmn on dates! you could make out instead. besides you can still play pokemon but you cant play with them.

You can tell her anything you want....any way you want. But you are being rude. Period.

And I am a guy who likes games. When on a date, she gets your full attention. By playing DS, you are telling her that she is in second place to a game.

You used the word obsessed...not good to be obsessed.

No you're being ridiculous. The date is meant to have you and your date spend time together not you and your pokemon. I mean come on dude grow up. Put it away and play it when you get home.

That is like saying you value your stupid little playing device more then spending that time with your girlfriend. Play it on your own time, what is the purpose of a date? To let her watch you play that thing? Why bother go out in the first place?

if you're on a date you dont need to be playing a stupid DS anyway. if you want to play, dont go on the date. you keep it up and she might just leave you. your girlfriend is right, sorry.

well in my eyes, that is so rude. she probally thinks you care more about you ds then her. and i would feel the same way. can't you play it later. Your date period is suppose to be focused on each other not your game. But i guess if you can't live without it......See if ya'll can make an "aggrement"....Good luck with that one!!!!!!!!!!
