Why. You have a religious background. You know that a relationship with God is personal. Now that you have lost it, do you find comfort in compiling a list of famous non believers. Knowing the names of these people does not give your decision any credence. They are rich and famous so they must be right. That just does not make sense to a thinking man. Do you like ketchup? Heinz was a well known Christian. Tastes good. God bless.

You forgot Albert Einstein, who was definately an atheist, despite whacky and unfounded christian claims to the contrary.
I'm surprised christains could claim anybody of note as an atheist, considering they claim everybody of note is a christian.. Hitler however, WAS a christian..!
