My husband is ex-military. I asked him for a simple boot camp routine. I do counter push-ups (stand about 3 feet back with your hands on the kitchen counter, thumbs pointing in), and tricep kickbacks with either big cans of food or anything heavy-ish. Sit-ups, curls, and a walk around a couple blocks. And whenever I think about it I do isometrics. You don't even need weights. It's just tensing muscles and holding until you can't hold it anymore. If you have someone else in the house, have them hold your arm or leg and push while you push back until you can't stand it.

Note: I'm not trying to lose weight, just tone up.
