Unwrap it, give it a good sniff and see...it should be ok. I always rinse chicken anyway, but be sure to do so in this case as the juices could have absorbed odors from the fridge.

How cold is your fridge? Did you have it in the meat keeper? Did you defrost it in your refrigerator or on the counter? If you placed the chix from the freezer to the refrigerator it takes 2 days to fully defrost. longer if you used the meat keeper cause it has a direct vent from the freezer and keeps it colder then the rest of the fridge. If you defrosted it on the counter then NO I would not chance it. Look at it this way, It's not worth a couple of bucks to get food poisoning.

If it has no odor and no slime it is safe to cook and eat. As a precaution I would recommend brining with kosher salt to improve the texture/taste as it may have absorbed some flavors from the fridge.

No.Don't use it.There is nothing worse for salmonella than poultry.
The rule is 3 days tops.

If the chicken is still in the plastic wrap from the grocery store, your safe. However, if you took it out, and the raw chicken is exposed inside your frige - then I would not cook it - as bacteria is now on it.
