There's a vocal warm up that's accompanied on the piano, and I'm trying to figure out how to do it. I believe the notes are something like (starting at middle C) C, E, G, E, C. I don't know how to do this warm up myself; I've only seen my voice teacher do it. Can anyone explain this to me?

The one I learned was to sing do re mi fa so la ti do with the scales on the piano in the various registers. We would start out slow and gradually speed up until we were doing it staccato.

The one that we sing in my choir at uni goes c E G E c (going up to and then down from G) c F A F c, c G Bb G c, c A C A c, c Bb C Bb c (the lower case C is middle C, the upper case one is the C above it)

I hope that's the one you're looking for.

1.) say brrr in the tune of cdefgfedc
2.) put your hands on your stomach muscles and say: s h f t (the sounds not the letter names)
3.) start this one up high and go down the scale at each piccidilli -
