Somehow you have inserted a hyperlink into that cell. It is possible that you typed an '@' symbol in the formula somewhere and Excel has interpreted that as an e-mail hyperlink.

Right click on the cell and select Clear Contents from the pop-up menu. You may have to type the formula in, again (without the @ symbol).

Copying the sheet into Outlook digital mail won't grant you with any function of the spreadsheet. connect a replica of the report to the e-mail. Then the guy on the different end (having Excel) can shop and open the report to paintings on it then shop and deliver the saved report back to you as an attachment.

why are you left clicking into it. when you go into a cell with a formula it should appear on the text bar, just like when you are editing your text and allow you to manually edit it;

try using the help menu and asking "how to edit formulas"
