How can someone believe in nothing? I believe in many things. So to believe in nothing would likely mean you are not human.

Believing in "nothing" is believing in something. It's just kind of sad, that's all.

I think it's easy. If you follow anything or something, you need to justify your beliefs. but if you don't follow anything, all you have to say ," I think every thing else is false and I choose to believe nothing." You close all the arguments. Plus its very hard to follow any religion. You are constantly bombarded with questions.

greetings:

this question is relative. it goes with each individual and what suits them best. a generalized answer would be that holding a belief system tends to strengthen an indiviual, as well as help them persevere through life's trials and terrible times. there have been studies conducted and people who have a religious belief system get over the death of a loved one sooner than those who don't, presumably because their beliefs helped them and they could cling to them, while those with no beliefs had nothing to cling to or bolster them through tough times. hope this helps.
