On the stone steps leading up to the entrance of the New York public library, there are two lions sitting, one on each end. The names of the lions are Patience and Fortitude. My question is, on which side does Fortitude the Lion sit, left or right?

This is for a drawing reference. Thanks in advance to anyone who asnwers =)

The Fifth Avenue lions have been there for years on Fifth. I'm not lying.

Patience still guards the south side of the Library's steps and Fortitude sits unwaveringly to the north.

So Fortitude should be on the right side and Patience on the left side.

The two lions are on the east side of the library. They face Fifth avenue between 41st and 42nd st.
