I live here. I go to school there, an hour away. I work for the same company here and they have another one there. Is it alright to mail them my application? I want to get it in before school starts, but don't really want to drive all the way down there.

Either fax or mail your application. It depends on how fast you want them to get it.

I would be reluctant to fax it - unless I personally knew the person I was faxing to and could follow up to make sure they received it. Too many offices poorly managed faxes for me to have a lot of confidence in them for something important.

Driving there would definitely make a good first impression but if you already work for the same company, they already have an impression of you. Return receipt mail might work just as well.

Definitely do it by fax. Be sure to send a cover sheet.

fax your application, its more appropiate and a quicker way to get a follow up answer.

Yes. Call ahead, let them know it's coming, then call back to make sure they received it.

How badly do you want the job? I would deliver it in person.

Your question is neither here nor there. Just fax it....
