Amen, Jesus died on the Cross for our sins.

I can, considering love is a human emotion. I doubt a higher power (if exists) would display the same emotions we have. For me it is proof that man created God - and the manmade Christian God is barbaric, hypocritical, and sadistic. I'm not trying to be rude, but just sharing my thoughts as you also have. Atheists aren't angry at God, or whatever other misconceptions you have; we simply think the idea is ridiculous and is founded upon nothing substantial. If there was one shred of conclusive proof for any god there would be no atheists or agnostics.

Do you not understand that atheists and agnostics don't believe in Jesus, so therefore why would we think that something that isn't real loves us? We don't believe that the Bible is the truth and we don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, and we don't believe that he died on the cross for us, so please stop trying to tell us that he did. We don't want to hear it.

If he was real, he died because the Romans saw him as a threat.

Does that whole God had to allow his son to be tortured and killed even make sense to you? I mean why would an all powerful god need to kill his own child in a horrible way to have the ability to forgive? It really doesn't make any sense.

I am not Atheist/Agnostic. But I am sure they can comprehend if the chose to. I think you should go about your preaching in a more kind and less "fire and brimstone" kind of way. PPL tend to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ when and if THEY want to. Not when someone shoves it down their throat. That's not how Jesus taught, he taught with kindness we should all follow his example.

Horus, Ancient Egyptian God/man also died by crucifixion for the sins of the world. What's your point?

Yeah I can comprehend God's great love and it has nothing to do with Jesus or the Bible. It has to do with my concense and my "heart".

Standing above the crowd
He had a voice that was strong and loud and I
Swallowed his facade 'cause I'm so
Eager to identify with
Someone above the ground
Someone who seemed to feel the same
Someone prepared to lead the way and
Someone who would die for me

Well if he did then god has forgiven any transgressions I may have made therefore I will not go to hell no matter what.
If your brother pays me a debt you owe can I then collect from you also?

You follow man not god, not Jesus and then try and preach to others?
Hypocrite

I'm glad I wasn't God's son - what kind of father kills his own kid to prove how much love he has for his followers? Where's the self sacrifice? If God loved people so much, why didn't he do something horrible to himself instead of his innocent son?
Why did God require a sacrifice anyway? Why couldn't he just say "from now on, you don't need to slaughter animals for me - I'll just forgive you each on your own merits, without having to kill something"?
