Not judging you, this is just some advice. A starvation diet isn't a diet. When you starve yourself your body slows down your metabolism & starts to devour lean muscle tissue, which is what helps you burn fat. When you start eating again you have less muscle than when you started your diet & you are less efficient in burning fat thus more of what you eat turns to fat than before. You'll get fatter by starving yourself. No joke. Start eating again, eat 5-6 little meals spread throughout the day, whole grains, lean protiens, fresh fruits & vegetables, & drink water. If you are trying to lose weight, learn how to calculate how many calories you need per day, (look online for formulas), and decrease those calories by only a slight amount, like 15% - 20%. You'll be eating more than you thought you would, maybe even more than you eat on a normal basis. That's a proper diet. Make sure you work out 3 days a week cardio & do weight training (not to get buff) a few times a week to keep your muscle. Take a day off from your diet once a week & every two months or so don't work out for a week. Change your workouts every now & then as well. This way you should lose 1-2 pounds a week. If you lose more than 2 pounds a week after the first few weeks, (it can be normal in the first few weeks to lose more than that), then you're not eating enough & you should check your formulas. If you show no results the first few weeks, then your metabolism has to catch up with you & it will! Just keep at it & you will see results. This is the healthy way to do it, no pills no expensive products that don't work, just hard work, determination, & patience, slowly & safely.

The word starvation necessitates = starvation. If you are fasting (hopefully less than 2 days) many people eat fresh squeezed veggies and fruits. The fiber and carbs allow you to go for a period of time without losing all glycogen or becoming hypoglycemic.

If this is for weight loss keep in mind that fasting for more than 12 hours begins to eat away muscle tissue not fat and will vastly lower your metabolism so when you do start eating food your body will store all calories as fat because you tricked your body into thinking you were going to die.

A very low cal diet (800 cal ) can, for short periods be beneficial if most of the calories are protein to prevent catobolism of lean muscle.

Starvation = death. Sorry. Had to judge a little.

Okay I won't judge because I did that too when I was a teenager. Not good I learned by my mistakes. First I will tell you that starvation really doesn't work. Your body begins to realize that it will not get food so it starts storing your fat. So you are not loosing fat... All you are doing is loosing water. Also what your body does is if it is really hungry it takes from your muscle...Starvation is just that starving your body for fuel, engery and keeping your insides not nearly functioning at optimun levels.
I have a suggestion for you. Why not just eat good food. Lean chicken, meats, fish. Try organic everything. Veggies, fruits. No packaged foods, pizza, fast food, juice, soda, Just water. Eat some yogurt, cottage cheese, organic cereal and organic milk or organic soy milk. A friend just lost a much needed 80lbs over 8 months doing this. Her skin looks great, her eyes are bright and she feels wonderful. Just eat healthy and you will stay healthy. I don't know how old you are but if you are over age 21 you can even have a glass of wine or beer. These are much better for you than soda. Green Tea a couple times a day and drink one glass on distilled water each morning on an empty stomach to jump start your metabolism. Use coconut oil for cooking eggs in a pan. Stay away from bread unless it is organic no hydrogenated oils, no peanut butter unless it is minus the hydrogenated oils....get the pic...Good luck and please don't starve yourself. Oh, yes you can eat these things right away.
Please excuse any mispellings I wrote too much for the spell check to work.

If you're trying to lose weight it's all gonna come crashing down on you cuz the starvation diets slow down your metabolism so even the smallest things you eat take forever to digest. If I were you I would use the Sacred Heart diet. My friend lost 4 pounds in 3 days. Don't starve yourself though, but eat healthy and exercise.

Starvation slows the metabolism, eats away at lean muscle, and starves the brain of oxygen. You can dehydrate and die. Please, if a diet means that much to you, I suggest fish oil pills, you can get them at any drugstore or GNC. A diet of 1,000 - 1,200 calories, low-carb, high protein, will do wonders. Don't forget to exercise as well. Seriously, it can't be that difficult to get up and walk for a half hour a day. What you're doing to your body, if you survive, will severely damage it beyond help in the long term.

Dear Pink,

I don't know why you are on this diet, but any starvation diet is dangerous. Please stop right now. (That is my mother speech.)

I don't know what you have been taking into your body nor how long you have been on this diet.

I would suggest that you see a doctor immediately and have him/her tell you where to start. Sorry I can't be more specific.

You could try clear soups, eat the chicken and noodles, or the vegetables. Start small, but you have to eat. Nothing is worth killing yourself, starvation is not an easy way to die, you know.

We all care, so please, give up the diet.

You need stuff that is lo-cal and has lots of chew factor. Try baby carrots, celery sticks dipped in Balsamic vinegar, sliced raw sweet potato, smear a cabbage leaf with some tofu mashed up with scallions and seasoning salt. Also, drink PLENTY of water. And don't do this for more than a few days.

If you insist on being on a starvation diet.
Then I won't judge you.
But please eat a large steak or chicken salad with lots of veggies.
Your body needs some proteins really bad.
but since your haven't been eating anything you eat your body is just going to store
Good luck
Please try a healthier way though

Why would you starve yourself? You need to watch what you eat, keep your portions small and drink lots and lots of water. Don't starve yourself, you will be sorry, cuz you don't lose weight that way! And you could turn into a raving lunatic.
Now go grab some water and carrots and eat something!!

A "starvation" diet? Never heard of it? I will tell you that it is unhealthy not to eat. You could get sick.
I would suggest the "Atkins Diet" It does work. You can eat all the protein that you want but no carbs. Give it a try. I wish you the best.
