Guys don't like it when you plan the wedding after the first date. He wanted to be assured that you're not in love with him and going to stalk him.

Sounds like classic fear of commitment. If you don't call it a relationship, then he doesn't have to feel guilty if he sees another girl he wants to date also, or instead of you. Ask him to say what he means. If asking him to be honest, and less cryptic, with you makes him leave, then you were better off without him.

If he meant something else, better he should explain it before he accidentally ends this "relationship". Guys are simple creatures, when we try to get sneaky, one or both of your eyebrows is going to raise up. Watch your six.

Good luck. Keep your eye on the ball, and your teammates, and the other team, and the umpire, and...well, everything.

He was being sarcastic, i believe. He probably wanted to hear something more reassuring than "i dont know..........guess we have to see what happens. He might have preferred to hear you say "I am confident we can make it work and i am will to put 100% of my effort into it". He obviously wants the relationship, but he wants to know how that you feel the same way. Mind you, i was not there and i dont know the full conversation, so this is mereely opinion.

He likes you and instead of you going with the flow of things and taking them for what they are - you are now putting doubt out there that he didn't feel and so he's upset that you now doubt the relationship. He likes you and is willing to work with you and you are ready to just give up - which is not the answer he wanted. Not rocket science here, you know.
