We celebrate new years for the year 2025. It's not a war. World war 2 was a war, world war 1 was a war, the korean war was a war, viet nam was a war. Work off our debt seems like a good plan. Fixing domestic issues would take a front line too. Illegal immigration is probably the next biggest issue.

If we win, that shows that wars are successful and will lead to more wars.

If we lose, that shows that either a) wars are not successful and will lead to less wars, or b) the US is a poor warrior and must become a greater warrior, after which will lead to more wars.
