ok im now 19 and my fella is 24. similar story except people are more judgemental when its a younger lad and an older girl like its dirty or something.
when i was 16 i dated a 23year old and a 26year old. i've always been older in my head and my relationships have been about what was right for me and the other person, not society. i also have a mate who is 19 and dating a 32year old and they're really happy.
yeah you and your girlfriend have an age gap, some people who've answered can count the age gap - and what? if you're happy, good for you, because the only person who can judge IS you.

I just thinking 'nice and now onto the problem. ...' but all you put was your age and her age!
If this is what you wondering then you have nothing to worry about. You both adults so what the problem?
If it worrying you so much then you need to decide if it worth it but if you both liking one another and the only problem is others views then just ignore them and don't take them into consideration.
The relaionship is between you and your girlfriend, not you and your girlfriend and the World and his wife!
I had a younger boyfriend before in past and it wasn't too much an issue.
I now dating a man 4 years older but age is just a number when the two people are legal age and consenting adults.

JLAR if you have to ask this question...... are you having doubts about the age of your girlfriend and the snide remarks like granny snatcher,toyboy,etc etc.... if you are both happy then why should what people think bother you ???? but me personally i don't care,
