No, how vegetarian can stop global warming! Only Developed countries who are yet to sign the declaration can stop global warming.
The Developed countries always distribute Free prescriptions to the poor and developing countries about the global warming but the do not follow their own prescription, this is nothing but a double standard.

I can tell most if not all of the answers are limited to only a minute part of the whole problem concerning global warming.Eating or raising beef and other life stock has little or nothing to do with the cause and effect scenario. Most gases even oxygen, methane, and weather are influenced largely by the planets oceans. If one really took a look at the big picture you would find everything is cyclic.I would focus more on true environmental extremities then the minor ones that more then often are just part of the norm.

I don't see why it should. Humans have been eating meat throughout history, yet global warming happened only recently. Vegetarianism that is not connected to religion is a fairly new thing. I don't see that having much of an effect. Switching to mass transit for going to work everyday can make a much bigger contribution to stopping global warming.

Umm, global warming will stop when the natural global warming trend ends. What would not eating properly have to do with it?

NO, CHOICE OF FOOD IS NOT THE PROBLEM. IT IS THE DESTROYING OF THE OZONE BY INDUSTRIES THAT PUMP O2 INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. THE CLEAN AIR ACT WAS SUPPOSE TO SAVE THE OZONE, GUESS NO BIG INDUSTRIES LISTENED TO THOSE WHICH FOREWARNED OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE OZONE. NOW THEY SAY WE DIDN'T SEE IT COMING. YEARS LATER, AFTER THE BIG COMPANIES KEPT KICKING FOREWORD THE YEAR THEY HAD TO CLEAN UP THEIR POLLINATES., IT IS A REALITY THAT CAN'T BE DENIED ANY LONGER! CARS HAVE POLLUTED FROM DAY ONE! SO MAYBE DRIVING AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE AND CONSERVATION, PUT INTO PRACTICE BY EVERYONE, AND GOING GREEN WILL TURN IT AROUND.

If everyone takes action against global warming, I would say no. Will everyone? No. I think it would be a great additional step, but I think right now, just trying to get everyone to make all of the small changes they are willing to make is key. Get people in the mindset that they would be willing to at least make some changes, then go from there. I just say this because to many, becoming a vegetarian is a horribly extreme and unimaginable option.

If you were a vegetarian, does that mean you would stop driving a car, stop using electricity, stop consuming anything, or producing waste of any kind?

I am not sure why you would think this, but no. Just do little things in your daily life and it will help. Cutting back on the consumption of electricity is the easier thing everyone can do. Good Luck!
