It is a scientific fact that since Sacramento had those cooler days there is no such thing as global warming. To prove my point, try going to Antarctica in only your swimtrunks. You would freeze, even though Antarctica is the closest place to the sun. It is very cold there.

Most scientists are in agreement now that 'climate change' is a more accurate term to explain the current weather situation than global warming. Human-induced climate change is very much a reality. Russian shipping companies are already poised to take advantage of reduced (and later no) ice in the Arctic Circle during the summer months. Polar bears are drowning daily.
The erratic weather associated with this climate change has lead to numerous weather records to be broken within the past few years - think of the recent rain and flooding in the UK and tornadoes in Manitoba, Canada - far beyond their usual northern range. The process is not about everywhere becoming warmer but about drastic and unpredictable changes over a very very short timescale - geologically speaking. Yes the earth has experienced this before, but the process was slower. It amazes me that this topic is still being discussed really. Even George Bush has admitted the 'possibility' and you know that means something's up!!

all time lowest maximums... it's the high MINIMUMS we should really be concerned with.
many of the heat-related deaths from the chicago heat wave of 1995 occurred because the temperature at night STAYED at dangerous levels. elderly especially had a hard time coping, either due to an unwillingness or an inability to keep cool. this was partially due to the effect of urban heat islands, which are significantly warmer than the surrounding (green) countryside.
whether chicago is more important than sacramento is up for debate...
i am glad you've been able to enjoy cooler weather. last year we set a record high temperature for this day, and we're forecast to top that tomorrow.
trade ya..

Right, it doesn't count. Look at global satellite images of mountain ranges that just 5 or more years ago were covered in ice, but are now visible.
Weather predictions is not an exact science. What is visible and measureable is that global temperatures are rising.
You can't extrapolate from the record lows for the Sacramento that global warming is not an issue.

Ignore Al Gore and look at the bigger picture.. outside of 2 days in Sacramenta, CA. Look at all of the world and study the climate patterns. The earth is CLEARLY getting warmer, maybe due to greenhouse gases and maybe because earth is getting warmer on it's own... maybe both. The balance of things is getting thrown off everywhere, sea levels are rising, etc. You don't have to associate global warming with Al Gore... it's kind of immature and futile when people do this.

Two cool days in Sacramento mean absolutely nothing in terms of global warming, just as two super hot days in Walla Walla mean nothing. I live in Sacramento and it's also been 108°F this summer. So what?
Are you trying to suggest that global warming isn't happening? Because it is. There's no denying that:

global warming deals with the average GLOBAL temperature over time, including oceanic temperatures, not just the weather for 2 days in your neck of the woods.
and the concept was not invented by Al Gore.

Don't be a moron. You can't take a snapshot and think it gives you the whole picture.
Other parts of the country are experiencing the highest temperatures in their recorded history. Portland OR had incredible highs. Does that disprove your theory?
EDIT:
Read this article. It seems to counter your feeble argument.

You need to know the difference between climate and weather.
If it's warmer, or if there are more hurricanes, or there's floods, then that's climate change, caused by man and proof that we have only 10 years or less to live!
If it's cooler, there are no hurricanes, rain fall is about right, then that's just weather, and is expected.
