Line the outside of your cake pan with aluminum foil. Then line the inside of the pan with waxed paper or parchment paper and grease that before you put your batter in.

I suggest you line the base with greaseproof paper or baking parchment, cut a circle that's a bit bigger than the base of the tin and this will "catch" the cake mix as opposed to letting it seep out. Don't forget to grease the tin before you put the paper in.

Have you checked that you put the base in absolutely straight? I have several tins like this and I don't have any problems with them leaking and I bake a lot. Good luck!

Plastic wrap. I know, sounds dumb, but as long as the plastic wrap is not exposed directely to the heat, it won't melt. Honest. Line your pan with plastic, then add the batter, hey, what the heck , try it.
