You have to wait it out as it is a virus. Drink plenty of fluids and gluocose tablets to keep your body salts up, if you can tolerate this.

Rest up and you should be back to full strength soon xx

No solids only fluids for 24 hrs(cooled boiled water) then try some dry toast to see if you can keep that down oh you could try FLAT cocacola that's what the doc told me to give the kids - it helps to settle the tummy - it does work - hope you're better soon

(1)Get lots of bedrest
(2)Drink lots of "clear" liquids (tea, water, jello water, room temp 7 UP, chicken soup broth, etc.
(3)Wash hands often
(4)Put yourself on the BRAT diet for the diarrhea:

B= banana
R= Cooked white rice
A= Apple
T= dry toast
*Solid food will only cause more diarrhea...so stick to clear liquids, & only the BRAT diet. Immodium AD is great for stopping diarrhea, if you choose that route. All the liquids will flush out all the impurities from your body.

Take Tylenol for pain as directed.
