When a guy constantly text messages you, but won't call?

I'm not a phone talker. I don't want to call you to shoot the breeze... And it's not really worth a phone call to ask a quick question. If I need to have a conversation, then I'll call... But otherwise, chatting through texts is sufficient.

must see what the messages say. if it is a friendly chat, he might be bored or something and sees you as a friend to past his time with. however if it is those mushy stuff, it might be that he likes you. the guy also might be too shy to call you and use test message to communicate with you

He surely has u somewhere important in his heart, well... i'm also a guy who text to someone i like often, i think that through texting, i can think of my question and answer, but through voice conversation, i'm afraid of a sudden silence.

it doesnt mean anything bad. i personally would rather text than call only because texting is more common today. but i do reserve calling for more important conversations because its more personal instead of personable.

He's very shy and not confident that he can carry on a good conversation with you by phone, and I'll bet face-to-face as well.

hes afraid he'll say sumthin stupid, or wont be able to say anything at all, and like that person said, with text he can think about his reply.

texting gives him time to think about his reply. he could be worried he'll say something to run you off.
