There is nothing wrong with not believing in God. It is a choice that everyone must make. But it comes with a reality. If God is not real, the choice is valid. If in fact there is a God who is the Creator of life and seeks our worship, then the choice has consequences.

Nothing is immoral about common sense. Just the opposite. It is immoral to perpetrate a lie clothed in the authoritarian robes of sanctimonious theocratic hegemony. It would be honest to say that the concept of god was a theory, an impossibly absurd theory at that (in my opinion), but I could in good conscience grant it at least that much credence. To propound such lofty concept as fact is dishonest, disingenuous, immoral and corrupt, and those that would play the gullible for their own financial gain (e.g., televangelists) or for power (e.g., the Church), or both, should be exposed to the light.

It is not immoral. Immoral is when you use the believing in god to push your cause and do wrong even though you know better. Believing or not believing in God does not fit this or any definition of immorality

I believe in free will. God equipped us with the ability to know what is right and what is wrong.

Choices can me immoral with or without the belief in God. Even satan beliefs in God, but his choices are immoral. God's standard is high, so is His mercy. He forgives everything we give to Him. : )

Not believing in god means you don't believe in the bible which is the basis for all morality. If you don't believe in god then you don't believe in what god teaches like thou shalt not steal and thou shalt not kill.

Is that what you want? A society where everyone goes around stealing and killing because they don't believe in god? Isn't it better to live in a god fearing society where you don't have to worry about Atheists crashing planes into buildings and committing other heinous acts of terrorism unconstrained by any morality?

I think that those who say you are immoral for not believing in god are just narrow minded people. I think that we all believe in a higher power whether you chose to label it as god is up to you. I believe in an equal balance , male and female, but i would never tell someone who is not of my beliefs that theirs are immoral. I am glad they have found a path that works for them. I have path that works for me. unfortunately, most can not except that you may have a different religious belief and demand that you change to theirs or you are condemned. so sad!

The problem is that the people who make that statement define their morality through belief in God. Naturally anyone who disagrees with that belief would automatically be labeled "immoral."

Apparently only bad people don't believe in God, so it's more that being a bad person makes you not believe in God, rather than the other way around. Not believing in God is just an easy way to distinguish good people from bad people.

The first of the commandments are to Love God. So, denying God is hating/rejecting God.

Love is everlasting. Hate isn't. The blessings go to the 1000 generations of those who love God. The iniquities (sinful addictions/curse) go on to the 3rd & 4th generations of those who hate God.

You show people who think everyone has to believe in their God that there is something besides their way and the highway.
