Go to your local library and get books about dog training. By extra toe do you mean dew claw? google it for pictures. Maybe she ripped it off because it was loose and she was in pain. Maybe her nails are too long and that's why she's chewing them- this again causes pain. It may be that your dog is just in pain thus causing the biting and attitude. Get her toenails clipped ($5 at a grooming place), get her dewclaw looked at by a vet. Then start with all the training.

first, when she growls or bites, pop her on the nose with 2 fingers, and give a stern no. should she growl or bare her teeth, crate her(if you have one) or put her in the bathroom for at least 30 minutes. do this each and every time she shows this behavior. She will eventually get the idea or at least everyone in the house will be safe if she is locked up. as for the toe nails, keep thm trimmed short, also pet supermarket slls a spray that is for this sort of thing, I believe it was called bitter apple

If you re guy Your Yorkie may see you as her mate. My father has a rose breasted cockatoo who thinks he is his mate. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be corrected. Your sister need to show she is not afraid of the dog. You really need to get her in an obedience class. Ask your mom again or save your money. If you can't do this then go on the Internet, and look up dog obedience, and you can find sites who will train you at home, or you can get a book.
Good Luck

It sounds like your dog might have some anxiety problems. Have you talked to your vet? that would be a good place to start. They will be able to help you figure out if it is simply an out of control dog in need of training or if it needs some medication to help it relax. I would definitely make an appointment......... and soon.

Your mom is making a big mistake and putting your little sister at risk.

I'd suggest getting whatever books you can on dog training and find whatever you can online and work on it yourself to the extent you can. And don't stop telling your mom that the dog needs professional training since your sister or someone else could get hurt.

Tell your mom to stop being a idiot and not a good pet owner and get this dog to a trainer before some one on the street gets bit by your dog. This is just rediculous. This dog needs training, it is not a toy or teacup haha
